LES AJONCS

Daniële is een super lieve, attente gastvrouw. Dame van de wereld die perfect engels spreekt. Doet het voor de gezelligheid van gasten te hebben en voor de babbels waarbij zij veel info geeft. Kamer elke dag proper gekuist en bed opgemaakt. Continentaal ontbijt met hartige ham en kaas. Pannenkoeken als extraatje (durft ze al eens vergeten te serveren maar dan krijg je ze mee voor onderweg :-) ). Stijlvol huis met ruime kamer en superdouche. Klein restaurantje van goede kwaliteit op wandelafstand (enkel van Do tot Zo en beperkte kaart/menu)

L’accueil de Danièle, très sympathique. L’emplacement est superbe avec vue sur la mer, le jardin fleuri et tout le confort pour se reposer au frais, sans ressentir la canicule . Danièle nous a donné de bons conseils de balades et de restaurants. Nous avons occupé la suite, très spacieuse, confortable et calme. Nous sommes partis avec regret et reviendrons avec grand plaisir

The location is great, only a few minutes by foot to the first beach. The bed was very comfortable and Danielle, the host is giving a lot of tips, what to do. She is fluent in English, which was a great bonus for us ,because we don't speak French. Also the breakfast was fully sufficient.

It's only a minor issue that not many restaurants are around, but also with that Danielle gave advice. Anyway, there's a good chance, that we come back.

Room is so big that you can dance inside, you can see the beach from the window. Breakfast very good. The owner is nice and gave us a lot of advise on what to do in the area. And the house is really beautiful. It was our firts time trying "chambres d'hôtes concept".

We had 2 days of really cold weather ( with max t +16 at day and winds) and owner refused to put on heating as "it was not her habit to put on heating in summer"... She gave us woolen bed cover instead. We slept at freezingly cold room at night, it was very frustrating. Will never come back to a place where comfort of guest is not put first. We did not have this issue with no other owner in our trip.
