About this house rental
Picture yourself staying in an ocean front beach house with one of the most stunning views on the eastern seaboard. Immediately below you is the rock platform of Penguins Head. Look north and you can see Culburra Beach, Shoalhaven Heads and Seven Mile Beach all the way to Gerroa and Kiama.
If you need a well earned break anytime of the year, Above the Sea is the perfect destination. This is a very special location. A comfortable home fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay including wifi and netflix . All the living areas and the seaside bedroom provide expansive ocean views. The home offers a unique opportunity where you can be really be close to nature. A place where you can meditate, reflect and find peace. This is our home, we love it, and would like to take the opportunity to share share it with you.
The ideal location where you can relax, read a book, listen to music or watch a movie whilst taking in the most stunning views. The close proximity to the deep ocean is mesmerizing and a rare treat. Dolphins and seals are frequently seen during the day and whales are spotted from your doorstep during the migration season.
Get up early and experience the breathtaking sunrise, or relax with a glass of wine after a wonderful day at the beach, and watch the most magnificent sunset. On a cloudless night and full moon, watch the ocean shimmer in the moonlight.
Water activities are of course the main attraction during the warmer months and there is no shortage of fun to be had. If you feel like a challenge, diving and surfing lessons are offered by qualified locals. If you feel like a swim or just want to get your feet wet, you have the choice of two patrolled beaches just a short stroll away. Your biggest decision for the day will be, "Which beach shall we go to?"
During the cooler months the location takes on an entirely different appeal. You will feel like you are a million miles from nowhere and the ocean will never disappoint with it's ever changing moods. Gas heating is provided during winter to keep you cozy and warm.

Shops, supermarket (open until 9pm), restaurants and bowling club are a few minutes away.

The house felt clean and the beds were really comfy. The location is fantastic and we never got tired of watching the ocean. We even saw dolphins. We really loved everything about the house. Thank you for having us.

Suggestions: Please could manuals for operating coffee machines and kitchen compost bins be on hand. Also instructions re bin collection nights.
The washing line is broken.
Please could you acknowledge my previous emails saying we did NOT take our dog with us - I think this makes a difference to the fee for rental.

Fantastic views and plenty of room. The house needs a good clean and the smell of animals is prevalent within the house. I would not book this house again.
