Originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, Shore Acres Lodge is a unique collection of twelve mountain-style cabins along the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. Lakeview Cabin gives your family the privacy of its own cottage while providing access to the shared lakefront spaces and recreational amenities throughout this historic Big Bear property.
Inside, the 550-square-foot cabin offers a comfortable setup for families and small groups. The first bedroom features a queen bed and a private three-quarter bathroom with a stand-up shower. The second bedroom provides additional flexibility with another queen bed plus a full/twin bunk, creating sleeping accommodations for up to seven guests.
Step outside and enjoy one of the biggest advantages of staying at Shore Acres—the lake is just steps away. Guests have shared direct access to Big Bear Lake along with a seasonal boat dock and fishing area. During the warmer months, the community swimming pool is available on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day, adding another fun option for summer family getaways.

We had a good time the cabin was cute, clean spacious. It was very quiet and the whole family felt comfortable and taken care of. We all took a walk to the lake and visited the village. The kids were a little disappointed on the pool/jacuzzi not being available but totally understandable due to covid protection I suppose. I definitively recommend to a small family or a group of familys to stay since it's a small connected little community of cabins.

My friends and I had a blast at this cabin. Great view if the lake especially at sunrise. Not far from the ski resort and the village is down the street. All in all, I'll have to stay here again.

Online reservations were easily made and the location is beautiful. The cabin is rustic and maintenance is lacking. The shower and windows were in serious need of repair. We still enjoyed our stay. We just showered at home.
