Lovely apartment with horrible service.
Palüdetta 8 is a very nice apartment. It is centrally located in Silvaplana and super easy access to the lake. We were there for cycling and kiting and the location didn't disappoint. The apartment itself is nice, but let's be honest it NOT 5-Star! The apartment is 3-Star. The amenities were adequate but, like most rentals where the owner is not present, or a third-party is managing, there was very little, if no, support for issues.
We were delayed on our arrival and couldn't make it until midnight. The original plan was to be there at 2000h. We were in communication with the owner but the manager only travels by public transportation, thus it was inconvenient to meet at any time. Ultimately we needed to drive past Silvaplana by 8km to Maloja to find an address that wasn't listed anywhere because of the recent renaming of streets. Luckily the hotel in Maloja was open and pointed us in the right direction because all of our phone calls were going unanswered. We rented the apartment for two weeks. There was zero assistance during this time and when sending texts to the manager about the broken vacuum cleaner he told us it was defective and a hose was on order (so the issue was known and there was no vacuum for two weeks!). When we asked if there was a vacuum to borrow on day 9 there was no answer. Come to Palületta 8 and be expected to care for yourself because no one is there to assist you. The local rules only allow red trash bags and you will be provided ONE. You will need your own cleaning supplies too, maybe even a vacuum.

Wir hatten einen tollen und erholsamen Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Wohnung.
Top Lage, schöne Aussicht, Lift bis vor die Wohnung, komfortabel mit 2 Badezimmer und 2 Fernseher. Da die Wohnung vor uns nicht besetzt war, konnten wir schön früher rein. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die einen Matratzen sind eher zu weich, die anderen zu hart (für unsere Rücken). Die Raumluft war sehr trocken (April ist noch Heizperiode).
