This was our third stay at this spacious and well-equipped place. An easy walk to visit our kids, who also arranged access to The Lakes gym, swim, and tennis facility.

Host was welcoming and informative. The house was clean and bigger than I expected. In a great location. Easy access to stores and highway. The outdoor area is breathtaking. I wish we were staying longer. Would definitely rent again when visiting AZ!

I would have liked to rate the property higher because it was quiet and had a great back deck. Unfortunately, the master bed and bath need a complete remodel along with some other issues that made the rating lower than it could be.
The master bath is very old fashioned and the shower was difficult at best. The knob to turn on the water was very finicky and we defaulted to the second bathroom for fear the shower would break inconveniencing us during our stay. The soap dish in the master bath was rusty which was off putting as well as the only place to put supplies being a stand inside the shower.
The second bath was much better but could use some tlc in that shower also. The master bed made a crinklling sound that kept us awake at night and the lack of black out curtains there woke us early in the morning.
Most of the furniture in the living area was very comfortable but the throw rugs were worn and thin. The curtains in the living area were very cheap looking and hung funny on the sliding door. The kitchen furniture was pretty but not very comfortable. The refrigerator door's water dispenser didn't work very well for ice and the glass holder has some stain on it probably due to the water.
It would have been nice to have the remotes for the TV in the master bedroom labeled as to which one would make the TV work I did figure it out about 3 days in but we like to watch TV at night to catch up on the news.
The front door was difficult to deal with even though there was a keyless lock. Getting it in the exact spot to get the door to lock and unlock was very frustrating.
A very nice touch was the notebook full of brochures and maps for things to do and see and helped us tremendously in our planning for outings.
Having stayed in some properties that are 5's we tried to compare the small things that were done in those so we could rate this property fairly. The "welcome" basket here had two bottles of water and two packs of cards. The dishwasher detergent was old and consisted of two pods. The washer detergent was adequate and the washer worked well but was very noisy as was the water heater.
Alecia did make sure we had a nice little table to hand out Halloween candy as well as a table cloth and a small decoration.
Overall, there were so many little things that could have been done to make this a five star property that I felt I could not rate it above a 3.
