Haus am Leuchtfeuer

Location is amazing directly overlooking the Russian nuclear U-boot left over from the cold-war. House is very modern, well-equipped and has a garden with plenty of garden furniture. Bike shed was also super. Recommend the walk to the only open bar in the evening (Walfisch), like most of Peenemünde, a very genuine and unique experience. Locals are down-to-earth and friendly. Peenemünde is full of history, and from what I Iearnt during my stay, all of it was pretty tough. I liked the place a lot, it has a unique vibe and deserves more visitors.

The reason this property gets marked down is not because it is over-priced at 300€ a night for 4 adults (there is not much accomodation in Peenemünde, it has a great location and is probably only 25-50€ overpriced). The reason for irritation is how you get to the 300€ over a period of weeks. When I booked on this website it was advertised at 80€, (OK - I knew there was a catch somewhere :-)). So then came the cleaning charge of 120€ on top. I naively thought this was the catch but then we found out the week before our stay, that bedding was not included. I haven't come across this since staying in Youth Hostels in the 1980s but maybe that's just me. (BTW - you also get the privilege of making the bed yourself for 20€ a head :-)) @HausamLeuchtfeuer Please sort your pricing model out, give the honest full charge upfront and you will get better reviews. @Booking.com please make it crystal clear when customers are booking if bedding is not included, this is something most people genuinely assume is included in an overnight stay booked on your website.

Wir hatten eine Reihenhaushälfte gebucht. Im Erdgeschoss war ein WC Eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit großzügiger Essecke und einem schönen Wohnbereich. Im Obergeschoss waren 2 helle Schlafzimmer, davon hatte eins sogar ein abgeschlossenen Ankleidereaum. Das Badezimmer hatte ein Dusche und Badewanne. Im Haus gab es einige Extras wie einen kleinen Gefrierer Im Garten gab es ein Gartenhaus indem wir unsere Fahrräder sicher deponieren konnten. Außerdem gab es noch eine Terrasse Es hat an nichts gefehlt

Sehr sauber, es ist alles da was man braucht.

Das Haus war super und man hat sich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Man wurde sehr herzlich empfangen.

Ich kann mich nicht beklagen war alles top.
