Au grand saule

The hosts were terrific and very welcoming, excellent at communicating with us thoughout our stay. The accommodation was very stylish and well equipped. The pool area with jacuzzi and sauna were tremendous.

Endroit calme et agréable, on a sur place tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de meilleures vacances. Propriétaire accueillante et très gentille. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances, on va sûrement revenir

The private pool & jacuzzi were wonderful, the home itself is very beautiful.

It was freezing. The radiators upstairs were not working & the underfloor heating downstairs was insufficient as we were not able to turn the thermostat up ourselves, the home owners control it and wouldn’t put it higher than 21c, so it barely kicked in, only enough for the flooring to not be freezing but not enough to actually warm the place. When told on the 2nd morning that it was very cold and the radiators upstairs were not working, the host let herself into home while we were not there (this made me incredibly uncomfortable as we had left our valuable possessions out since it was only the morning after we arrived, we had not yet had time to unpack) only to place 2 thin (airport style) blankets on the table. She would not allow us to buy an electric space heater. Lack of heating may have been alright if we had sufficient quilts to sleep with, but we did not, they were thin sheets you would expect to use in the summer, it the winter. When we told them the lack of warmth was unacceptable, we were simply told “for france it is okay.” We travelled from england, we are used to cold weather, but inside a home it should feel warm and toasty and it did not, as a result we all came home sick, including my 5 year old autistic son. It is such a shame because the place is very beautiful, but we were too cold to enjoy it and couldn’t wait to go home.
