The property has: + Strategic location. Vega de San Mateo is in my opinion likely one of the best villages to stay if you intend to explore the entire island by car. + Lovely reception supplied with local cookies and wine. + Sunlit balcony every morning. We’ve enjoyed all of our breakfasts up there. + A sauna, I repeat -AN INDOOR SAUNA- that you can use. Though it has an additional fee (about €12 for a good session), it is well worth it and a superb way to wind down after a day of exploring the island. It can be enjoyed by 2 persons at the time (3 is possible, but might be cozy). Adding some essential oils (e.g. eucalyptus) to the steam water would totally complete your experience. + Plenty of fresh, soft towels. Soaps. Blankets. Toothbrushes. + An amazing hostess that is always close by standby and can be contacted for any problem that arises. We barely speak any Spanish but using translator applications on our phones we could communicate sufficiently.

Only minor complaints that should not deter you from renting this amazing property: - WiFi connection available, but bot too reliable for things like streaming movies - Illumination can be a bit harsh in some rooms. But I can imagine bright lights are needed to make sure the rooms are cleaned properly.

Outstanding, beautifully refurbished house in very nice town in beautiful part of the island. Everything the family needed. Enjoyed the Sunday market in the town. If we came back to Gran Canaria, this is a must--stay. Thanks so much for your hospitality.
