No 14 Cádiz

Location, antique charm, range of facilities (even a washing machine!), very friendly and informative host. Really easy walking to beach, shops, great restaurants and more.

The supermarket door nearby makes a loud noise when closing, which is often. Not a massive problem as the shop closes in sleep times, but destroys the peace during siesta.

No 14 is in a fantastic location, close to all the major tourist spots. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished and is really special inside. It has everything you need for your stay and although it’s on a pedestrian only street it’s really quiet for sleeping but also has the buzz of life going by during the day. Mario is the perfect host explaining everything and recommending places to visit and eat. There is even a little supermarket next door and a superb cafe for if you don’t want to cook breakfast.

If I’m being really picky the only thing I can think of is the pillows were really firm & we are used to softer ones.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished and centred right in middle of the old quarter of Cadiz. Our host had written out a very helpful list of good restaurants, tapas bars and cultural activities.

Nothing

The location is great and very central in Cadiz, but so is everything, as the city is small in of itself. The host was pretty helpful and knowledgable.

It felt like there were no fresh air, no matter what we did. Must be because of the interesting apartment layout and the lack of windows. The apartment was a little ran down and could use a fresh up. The fridge was tilted and quite loose, so when I opened it after some time in the evening after our arrival, our celebratory champagne rolled out of the fridge and broke on the floor, unfortunately. Photos are quite missleading, as the apartment is dim. The parking place was a little far off and really expensive.
