Very clean and modern flat, wine as a gift from the hosts. Flat had all you need for the stay. I really liked the apartment.

Unfortunately the lady who meant to be waiting for me to deliver the keys was 1 hour! late. I was waiting by the door 1 hour despite the fact they have an office in the same building and I was communicating with her via texts that I am on my way and that I am very near the property so she knew I was coming. Completely unbothered host, careless that the client waits by the door for an hour. I also was told off by her in a very loud manner and rude way and laughed off. Shocking customer service.

I’ve now stayed three times with Canary Flat, and unfortunately the same issues have come up each time. At first glance, the apartments look recently renovated, but the quality doesn’t go beyond appearances. The showers are consistently poor, and the flats are not designed for stays longer than a few days. This flat is no exception. One of the biggest issues is that only one key is provided. For a booking for two people at this price level, two keys should be standard. While there is a lockbox, it’s not a proper solution—I’m not comfortable leaving keys in a shared code system. Additionally, having to arrange or obtain an extra key for the complex myself is an unnecessary inconvenience and takes time away from the holiday. Only one set of bed sheets is provided. While that may be the minimum, it’s not sufficient for longer stays, especially in winter when drying laundry is difficult or impractical. The bedroom is very small, and storage by the bed is limited to just two shelves, which isn’t enough. On the plus side, the bed was a proper double rather than two singles. The ceiling lamps were positioned so low that anyone taller than 1,75 m would hit them. This is a major flaw. I am 1,86m and I hit them way too many times. Cleanliness and maintenance were also below expectations. The shower was not properly cleaned, and the apartment door had visible cracks. From the sofa, you could see outside through gaps in the door. The pool in the complex was very cold. The ‘spa’ jets appeared to pump in cold water, making it feel even colder—beyond what you’d expect from the night temperatures alone. Unfortunately, based on repeated experiences, I’ll be avoiding these flats in the future.
