Very homey that I really did feel like im home away from home. The place is very clean, the comforter was definitely comforting. the owner was very accommodating and helped us even during wee hours.
The location may be a little hard to find for some especially if you’re arriving at darker hours and the streets are a little too narrow. But the owner will give you instruction and you can ask the cab driver to talk to the owner too for the location.

Breakfast at Swagat Homestay was excellent,fresh, delicious, and made even more enjoyable by the host, whose engaging stories about Kathmandu kept us captivated.
The location is very convenient, close to the airport, with easy access to transportation. Many temples and restaurants are within walking distance, making it simple to explore and get around the city.
There was nothing to dislike, we truly felt right at home throughout our stay.

The hosts Roshani and Sugat are the best, kindest people!! It was an amazing start to my trip and they truly make you feel like family - they sat down with me so I didnt have to eat breakfast alone both mornings and helped me out even after I had left.🙏 True and lived hospitality!
Everything was good - the location is perfect if you want a non touristy, local, residential area. It is close to the airport so also great for arrival and departure but to get to the sites you would need to take a short (10min) taxi ride, but thats no issue with apps like InDrive and Pathao, just ask the hosts!
