This was by far the cheapest hotel I found in the area (I needed to be close to the Xcaret for a wedding) but saw it had good reviews so I booked it. Upon arrival I was upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. The room was nice and the property in general has a nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they speak English. The included breakfast was great. I had no issues with my stay and I have no complaints! The only inconvenience is that it’s not within walking distance of anything, and Uber/Lyft (as of now) does not service this area, which I didn’t know before arrival. But the front desk is happy to assist with hiring a taxi. Enjoy your stay!

We stayed here because it was seemingly close to Xcaret, however it's along a highway so it's actually pretty difficult to get to town or to Xcaret without an expensive taxi. The hotel feels abandoned at night: the jacuzzi was empty and the restaurant closed. In the room, we also had a couple hairs in the shower and there was poor ventilation. It's more lively in the morning though and the breakfast is decent. So it all works, especially for the price, but there's more potential with better attention. The hotel itself is pretty! Perhaps it feels much better in the high season.
