Hôtel Villa KOEGUI Bayonne

The breakfast buffet was not extravagant, but it was generous, and it more than met our needs. My husband and I like different things in the morning, and we both were quite happy. The location was superb. We arrived and left by taxi, but we could have used the train or a bus easily. We walked to our key restaurants and touring sites in minutes. Other than our one issue, the staff was lovely. The bathroom was great! The room was super clean.

Room size. I don't think our room was the larger superior size I reserved no matter what the front desk said.

Breakfast was very nice with high quality produce. Location excellent. Staff very kind and professional. Great room. Hotel is small and very nicely built/designed - very tasteful. Would love to go back

Everything was excellent - absolutely nothing to complain about

Bayonne is small and beautiful so it was well within reach of the main areas. The hotel was smart and the room quiet for my stay. Excellent public transport to Biarritz bus / tram.

Booking.com advertised a bar....but the bar was limited to certain nights...I chose the hotel as it was supposed to have a bar which I assumed would always be available. Booking.com need to be much clearer and I am frequently finding expectations they set are not met.

The artwork in the hotel is lovely, and the larger rooms are beautiful with amazing facilities. Very centrally located - just a quick walk over the bridge to the town. Lovely breakfast.

We had ordered three superior rooms but they were of hugely differing sizes - this left one pair in our party particularly disappointed, and the reception staff were not inclined to offer any solution. Apart from that, a lovely hotel, but that did leave a sour note for our party I'm afraid.
