Lovely apartment. Felt so cosy and private. Incredibly comfortable and well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and really straightforward check-in. Quiet neighbourhood but only a short walk into town. Would love to stay again.
No, everything was great.

Cozy atmosphere - done with a lot of love for details which makes it special. The kitchen provides everything you need to enjoy a nice breakfast or dinner.
Cleanliness could be improved. Lot of bread crumbs in the kitchen from former tenants.
A shelf in the bathroom would have been much app.

We absolutely loved the location, the beautifully curated accommodation and the staff who were so genuinely lovely.
Easy check in with Dave who went out of his way to help us and look after us. We had an amazing breakfast in the Lawrence House dining room with great music and his cheerful company.
We were looked after by Patricia the lovely house keeper and any issue we had was quickly attended to. A genuine pleasure to be able to stay here.
Feels like picking on perfection here but if I had to find anything I’d say… The bed was a bit squeaky for light sleepers but this is just a nothing in the scheme of our amazing stay.

Nice layout and very comfortable for the 2 of us.
We were lucky with parking just outside. Parking away would have meant moving bags on a fairly steep hill.

An exceptional, individual property, which looked just like the image in Booking.com. It was comfortable and immaculate. It was reasonably close to Derry centre (about a 10 minute walk)
No complaints at all.
Car parking is on the road-side, but this was not an issue. It is at the top of a steepish hill.

Personal reception upon arrival was outstanding. Emmet was very helpful & informative. Did a great job showing us the room and detailing restaurants in the area (which we inquired about). Loved the multiple choice 2-course breakfast that was excellent at a very good price. Breakfast service was fantastic as well. Would definitely return.
It was all very well done. The only small thing I can think of is might consider moving that small table that blocks the bathroom door a little bit & have a bit brighter light in the bathroom for shaving. But these are such a small things it's hardly worth mentioning.

This is a very cosy, welcoming and comfortable place to stay.
The shower wasn’t very powerful but otherwise it was fine. Curtains on the bedroom window would have been appreciated given the time of year that we stayed, as sun up at 4.30.

Breakfast provided free was basic but excellent.
Location great.
Great to have the laundry facilities available as well!
Living room a bit dark…

This is a treasure, I almost don’t want to leave a good review in case it gets booked out for when I next want to stay in Derry.
Honestly, there’s nothing not to love.

We had the option of calling Colin who offered to meet us with the keys on arrival but this was not necessary as we accessed the key safe easily.

This is an absolutely fabulous 'snug', a well equipped kitchen and longue on the ground floor and a delightful bedroom with a massive bed on the first (with an attached shower room and lavatory). I have stayed in many hotels and rented apartments on my travels over the last 12 years and this was the greatest place I've stayed in. And you will pay more to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Derry (and I have!)
It's not mine - boo hoo. There is nothing not to like about Sorley Boy's Snug. It's stunning.

Great location

This is a fab location. Tastefully appointed. Comfy. Great location though I was up there for family imbeds reasons. Derry is surprisingly hilly so good for the glutes. A wee bit dark
Lacking natural light in daytime but tastefully
Done and nice.
Ohh! The steps are a wee bit dodgy so be careful.
Not a lot

The property was so cozy and warm when we arrived. There was milk and cereals left in the fridge for us and a great coffee machine so we didn’t have to think about breakfast on the first day. We also received a call before we arrived to check if we needed anything else. The bed and sofa were so comfortable and everything was clean. There was even fresh flowers on the table which I felt was a lovely touch. The location was also perfect, only a 10 minute walk to the city centre.

Contact with the team was excellent with a little welcome pack provided.
Will be definitely staying again on my next visit
My thanks to Paul and the team.

This is a lovely, warm, comfortable space that is perfectly situated in the city centre. It is only a couple of minutes walk from everything, whilst being serenely peaceful.
A new shower head is needed but, apart from that we loved absolutely everything.

I would love to give a better review, but unfortunately, my husband left £180 on the dining room table when we left. I called to see about retrieving the money and was told it was not there.

I loved this property, it really was 'snug'! The owners had sent a message with the access codes and the heating had been put on for us which was lovely. The décor of the property was just great, and everything was so comfortable and clean. There was everything you could need to cook or prepare food in the little kitchen and the property had such a nice feel to it that we wanted to spend more time in it then actually exploring Derry!
I don't really have any negatives other than perhaps some coat hooks by the front door would have been good for our big winter coats. Also the property is located up a very steep hill which was fine for us but perhaps other visitors who travel on foot would need to know that.

Sorley Boys Snug had a real homely feel to it. The hosts had the heating on for us when we arrived and were very welcoming. We got a full run down of the facilities and a few recommendations too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Was such a good base for exploring Derry. About a 5 min walk from the Guildhall where there are great bars and restaurants.
The heating system was almost too good. I'd recommend turning it down a small bit.

Everything about this place was amazing. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. When we got there they had left groceries and had the heating on which made it very cosy.

It was a great place to stay, the location was great too. Could not fault it at all.
