Sana and his family are wonderful hosts. We slept just 30 seconds from the beach, which was pure magic. They also run a great beachfront restaurant, and we ended up eating all our meals there: highly recommend the curry and the arrack sour 😉
The accommodation is very simple, but it ticks all the right boxes and feels just right for the place.
We were 2 adults and 3 kids (including a baby) for a full week!
Mawella is a real hidden gem, with very few tourists. The beach is huge and beautiful, dotted with fishermen and shells: peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable.

Direkt am wunderschönen idyllischen Mawell Beach gelegen. Unterkunft war super ausgestattet und mit Liebe hergerichtet. Vor allem das Familienzimmer hat uns super gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sana war super nett und hilfsbereit.

Zeer schoon, dichtbij het strand, goede airco, prima bedden. Het strand is heel rustig, aantal wat luxere resorts. Geen massatoerisme.
Basic kamer en badkamer. Prijzig, zeker gezien de afgelegen plek en zonder ontbijt. Houd rekening met feesten (en dus harde muziek) bij de resorts tot laat.

l'accueil de Sana et sa famille, la chambre au 1er etage, avec 2 lits et confortable, super climatisation, terrasse super agréable. très bon restaurant familial en bord de plage.
le fait de ne pas profiter d'un petit dejeuner facilement, prevenir la veille pour l'avoir est ok mais ne me convient pas, mais un petit resto tout près sauve la mise. seul défaut qui à sa solution dans tous les cas.
