Casa Almachar

The house is a typical Competa townhouse in a great position. Close to all of the amenities compete has to offer. The house is in a good location. the view from the terrace is amazing and the hosts are easily available and very nice.

Our flight was delayed because of the British Air traffic control chaos (Obviously not the hosts fault). The hosts told us there was no late night check in, however, we knew where the house was located so we could have found it as this was our third trip to Competa. The front door keys could have been left in the key lock box. But because this wasn't an option we had to sleep in our hire car which wasn't great on the first night.

Not for the faint hearted, it is extremely hilly this town

We loved our stay in this quaint and very authentic little house. The roof terrace was lovely to sit on in the mornings and evenings. We found the road from Torrox much nicer to travel on than the alternative route.

Air conditioning downstairs as well as in the bedroom would give guests more scope to enjoy the whole house in the very hot summer months.
