Le petit trésor du Luberon

Beautiful apartment in a quiet street of Menerbes. The space is spacious enough for 2, loved the little outdoor area. The AC was really appreciated during the heatwave. The apartment is close to a Boulanger, cafes and restaurants.

Superbly located in such a beautiful wee village. Enjoyed the old world feel of the apartment. There during a heat wave so retreating to this place was perfect. Other wonderful old places to visit, ie Gordes, a short drive away.

This place could be a knock out, but a couple of things let it down in our opinion. The bed was comfy, but flannelette sheets during a heat wave wasn’t ideal. Also, the pillows on the bed were quite honestly the worse pillows I have EVER experienced anywhere, thin and lumpy, just awful. One towel provided each for hubby and I for a week stay wasn’t enough. The washing machine didn’t spin the clothes properly, items came out soaking wet, took a couple of days to dry, so couldn’t wash the towels. Smaller issues, only 1 1/2 toilet rolls provided for the week, and the couch isn’t comfortable to sit on for long.

Because the property is cave-like, it’s naturally insulated. So even though there’s no aircon, it’s more temperature regulated than other places might be.

Although the cave-like location offers natural temperature regulation, there is limited wind/air-flow, so it’s a trade-off. However, I was there during a heatwave and can confirm evening temperatures were comfortable enough for sleeping.
