This is a fantastic and beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The hosts were welcoming. The property is kept in great condition and very clean. We would happily stay there again!
The only complaint we had is that the kitchen could have been somewhat better equipped in terms of cooking utensils and the stove/oven could have functioned a bit better.

Friendliness of host; location, comfortable Beds, roomy house and relaxing place
Diffusers/ febreze (?)in rooms were difficult for me - im bit asthmatic and they set me off. Timer for central heating - I understand why they have it but bit of a nuisance to keep dialling it up every 2 hours. Weather was poor ( well it was December!) so spent a lot of time indoors! Lack of a bread knife !!!😁

had a perfect stay in a very remote, cosy and quiet environment. great location for exploring the less touristic parts of lake district, lots of nice hikes and scrambles around and also plenty of locations for wild swimming. we also really enjoyed having a piano, even though it is quite old and out of tune with some hammers missing.
