It is a self catering property, but with everything you could want. Fridge with little freezer box, toaster, microwave, kettle, gas hob. The host had even provided coffee, cookies and milk in the fridge, so that we could have a drink on arrival. There were fresh wild flowers in the kitchen and the lounge and plenty of cleaning products, in the light of our stay post-Covid restrictions (May-2021). I sent a text to the host with our anticipated arrival and received an immediate response regarding details of keys & access. The Cottage is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, with lovely fresh towels & linens. Our dog loved being able to stay with us and kept to the ground floor, happy on his own bed, as requested by the host. This is a fantastic little cottage, perfect for one couple. The neighbours were very helpful in suggesting a lovely morning walk for our dog, just up the road. There were a variety of dvd films and books for visitors, good wifi and a clear information pack for guests. The property was very quiet and with blackout blinds to provide privacy and a good night's sleep. Just a short 20-25min drive to the area in Leeds that we were visiting. Perfect for our stay! Thank you.
Parking can be a bit tricky, as kerbside only and for a number of cottages, taken on a 'first come-first served' basis. But we were able to park very near every evening, no more than a couple of doors down the street.
