Excellent standard of property loads of outside space and our host, super friendly with a warm welcome. The location was perfect with easy routes for the Lakes, coastal or northwards and our friend brought her 2 dogs which were made very welcome. Near by Wigton has the shops and services you'll need. A great place to chill out in a lovely setting.

Piggery Cottage was a great find! Just 20 minutes from Carlisle and the amenities were fantastic! The owner left so much food for us and all the rooms were lovely with such a homely lounge upstairs.

The self contained cottage was well stocked, spotless and very comfortable. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They left wine, milk, a cake, chocolate and snacks for us. The washing machine, dishwasher and oven worked perfectly. There were little touches everywhere. From now on this cottage (the piggery) will be our go to place for a holiday.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in for so many reasons; it was extremely peaceful and very comfortable, with a spacious layout and lovely, thoughtful items left by the owner (crisps, milk, a delicious homemade cake and sweets).
The owners were very friendly and helpful, being next door if required however non intrusive whilst there.
Would definitely stay again :)
