A great base for exploring North Norfolk

Liked the location for Sandringham and North Norfolk. Liked that it was all on one level and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Large supermarket near by made it convenient for groceries. Outside area was a sociable space for chatting with neighbours.

Overpowering smell of cleaning products as we entered the accomodation. Had to open windows immediately. Soap in bathroom made it smell like a hospital. Lost phone down gap in sofa. We were wondering if any of the 4 units has a walk in shower as a ramp was accessible for wheel chairs outside, but accessibility stopped there.. Hand rails would have helped in the bath, and the toilet seat wobbled. We realise we hadn't asked for these facilities but they might be adjustments that broaden it's appeal for people with accessibility needs.

After a difficult start to the year we desperately needed a break - we couldn’t have found anywhere better.

We loved where the property was positioned - it was private and very peaceful but within 10 minutes of all amenities. We didn’t need to use the car The property was spotless and very well equipped. The beds were so comfortable as were the settees in the lounge area

Had to ask for wi fi info also information folder missing so wasn’t sure about checkout process whether we were meant to strip the beds of the linen also the map showing the location of the property on booking.com is incorrect

Poor weather meant we only went out two afternoons, as we have no car. However, this proved to be a positive, as we made

well furnished and spacious surroundings. Modern facilities

As elderly, we could get in and out of the bath for a shower. Mirror in bathroom was too high. Little room in the bedrooms and wardrobe was out in the lounge. Gap between cushions on settee meant things kept falling to the floor under the settee. We couldn’t find our iPad and eventually it was found trapped in the raiser mechanism of the settee. We had to get help to get it out. A blanket on the seat of the settee would prevent anything similar happen for future residents. It might be useful to have better signposting at the end of the drive. People had difficulty finding us, including the Tesco delivery driver with put Home Delivery. He had called at number 5 Beach Road, where he found nobody in to ask. That’s where he thought the delivery was going. Satnav guided the taxi drivers to Searles Caravan Park and the lady taxi driver went round the caravan park 3 times, and only found us after we phoned to see where she had got to as she was so late arriving for our trip home!!

Fantastic holiday in a comfortable apartment, nice and quite, so close to the sea and the town.

Location of the apartment was excellent. Very comfortable and warm with nice furnishings.
