Very quirky and unique. Never stayed anywhere like it before. So steeped in history. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. Amazing views of the hall, surround by farms. Quick drive to Bridlington. I'd definitely come back.
Could do with modernisation but the decor added to the charm. And SO many spiders. Didn't bother me but the rest of my family were wimpy about it. We live in an old house with lots of spiders and this was another level.

Run down but lovely.
The garden- no furniture apart from plastic fete chairs you had to carry from the cottage.

The location is unique, entrance from a courtyard.
Inside, the rooms are quite nicely proportioned, in keeping with the house period with some corridors and steps/stairs involved. However modern and comfortable furnishings.
Showers are hand held, but easy to control, have to climb into bath to use.

Everything ! Just outside Bridlington in a lovely village down a tree lined drive next to the stunning Boynton Hall we loved Carr cottage .
