Location was good

The house wasn't particularly clean, all rooms were in need of a good clean to remove dust and cobwebs. The beds weren't comfortable and unfortunately the house was cold the central heating did nothing to heat the house. The freezer was so compacted with ice that the door would not close, rendering it useless. The downstairs bedrooms felt damp.

nice comfortable stay with good amount of space and good location

lots of space good parking clean and tidy good location gift of prosecco and biscuits which was lovely

since the hosts lived next door i thought they would have greeted us and showed us round and answered questions should provide towels for guests as this is standard wifi was not good enough, could only access from one room and even that was often not working or slow living room and kitchen were on separate floors so there was a lot of walking up and down stairs with drinks etc

A very nice property for large family holidays. Great position.

Very well equipped. Very good for children and all the family. Close to Skipton, the steam railway and the Yorkshire Dales. Plenty of parking space.

Great location for a great price.

The location was great, lovely company of the ginger cat! Plenty of rooms and lots of space. Everywhere was very clean and had good facilities.

The showers did not have the greatest pressure, but that was it.

Really lovely stay, house and grounds were just what we needed.

lovely and spacious for our large family, plenty of bathrooms and good having basins in each bedroom so no waiting at bathrooms for brushing teeth etc.

the outdoor furniture and BBQ at the side of the property could do with a little TLC it put us off sitting out at it as it needed a good clean with it being covered in bird poo (not done recently). We did sit at table out the front but was a more shaded area.

It was a pleasant stay and all the families enjoyed it.

The whole cottage was clean and tidy. The kitchen was stocked up with all the necessities including milk for tea and all the utensils and crockery. We went in with three families and all of them enjoyed the stay thoroughly.

It was a very enjoyable stay and quality time catching up with family and friends.

The property was very spacious, clean and well stocked with crockery, pans, utensils glasses etc. 10 of us were staying there. There was a large fridge freezer additional freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

There really wasnt anything any of us didn't like.

Great accommodation for a family holiday - just need to update the showers and heating on earlier!

The size of the property was ideal and a very good location. We had 3 very young children, it was very child friendly (other than fire guard not being fixed). Good sized kitchen table where we could socialise while cooking and it wasn't cramped. Large living room and good sized bedrooms with ample parking for 3 cars.

There were problems with Sykes not getting the details of the booking correct and difficulty contacting the owners as no answerphone on landline. The house was very cold when we arrived and took a long time to warm up. The showers were the biggest issue. Very low pressure in the upstairs shower. Temperature fluctuations in the showers were extreme. Several members of the family considered this so dangerous that they had baths instead. These problems resulted in an extended time for the family to get ready to leave each day.
