Dommage que la boulangerie et la superette du village était fermée mais j’ai pu me balader et apprécié les paysages

Bien placé pour rayonner, bien équipé. Présence discrète des propriétaires.

Nice and quiet big garden with large swimmingpool, tennis court, tabletennis,... Beautiful view on the river + close to the ferry (for free + frequently each day). The weather was good so we lived mainly outside in the garden if we were not on excursion (f.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner, playing games / reading, swimming, ...): enough private place and shadow!

Inside is "cosy" for 3 people (if you have f.e. bad weather / do more inside for a few days....), but ok (the bedroom is spacious for 3).

Fantastic location. Excellent host - Elisabeth was so helpful and easygoing. Very knowledgeable and helpful - emailed me info on great places to visit in the area. We got a whole house for our money!- plenty of room, 3 bedrooms upstairs. Very well kitted-out kitchen, everything we needed. Great to have trolleys to take our luggage from the car park to the apartment and we would use the trolley for shopping also, which was really handy. Laundrette facilities very good.

No aircon in the apartment and as it was 39C we suffered for the first few days but became acclimatised (no pun intended) to the heat eventually. Pool was fantastic until the weekend when the French schools broke up. From that point on, every day from 10.10am-8.05pm the pool was packed with children. No room to stand, never mind swim! The kids used to watch for me to be the first one in at 10am and they would then realise it was open and all barge down. Improvement suggested: Adults-only times (eg 10-11am or 7-8pm, for example). The pool was unusable as a result of lack of adult-only times.
