This is an attractive property in an excellent location in the town centre. Well equipped - we appreciated the coffee machine. Comfortable beds and quiet so we had a great nights sleep.
The only downside was the bathroom. It was rather mouldy in places and had seen better days. Possibly a previous guest had caused some damage? While the beds were very clean and general cleanliness was good, the bathmat and towels were horrible and I am not sure they had been laundered. If you are staying I suggest you take your own. It was a shame because everything else was very nice.

Great central location and rare find to have parking so central in Bakewell. Very cute cottage and well laid out. Friendly host.
As others have commented the downstairs bedroom does have a bit of a musty smell I think a new carpet in here would be good.

Thé cottage was lovely and right in the centre of Bakewell so ideal spot.
Sadly there was a few issues we had nothing major but just for future visits.
No cover on ironing board.
Downstairs bedroom is very cold and the window doesn’t shut properly.
Is on a very busy road so traffic noise is loud.
Some dishes where left dirty in cupboard from previous people.
Limited hot water the first night.
We’ve didnt have matches for the fire so we’ve bought some and left for the next family.
No guest book or instructions and a little welcome pack would be a added bonus.
