O alojamento está muito bem localizado, no interior da Aldeia, no entanto muito bem acessível à estrada principal. Consegue se estacionar relativamente perto e sem chatices. Muito acolhedor principalmente nesta altura do ano. A Sra. Elisabete e Sr. Rui foram muito atenciosos!

Excellent location in the middle of the small picturesque village, the house is perfect for a family of 4. With rough stone walls give the cozy feeling, topped with a Wooden stove (Salamandra). You won't be cold at least when its on. It was also easy to find good food around, but that's one of "Portugal's trademarks" I guess :) The access to the top of Serra da Estrela is just a 25 minute drive, and I found the access through Sabugueiro less sinuous and less scary than others. Winter Tip : Make sure to wear warm cloths (specially children) if travelling to the top, altough at the village weather seems ok, as you go up and reach 1900m it will change drastically...

Its a bit difficult to find a balance on the wooden stove, as quite easily you can turn that small house in a sauna :) and burn the whole wood. But with a bit of practice cutting off oxygen, I'm sure its possible, just didn't had the time.
