Perfect spot for a family of 6

Kathleen was an excellent host for this cycling weekend with the family. The place only has 2 rooms each with their own bathroom on the first floor. Each room has a TV with Netflix and is super-clean. One room easily fits 4 people, the other was for 2. We came with 2 cars, each carrying cycles. The BnB is in a residential area with little to no traffic. We parked our cars at the front of the house and we were allowed to park the bikes in her garden under a very big shed. Comfy beds, warm showers and above all an excellent host. She gave us excellent tips on where to eat oustide with kids (scoutsralley) and on cycling iteneraries. I can really recommend the trip we did on Sunday: using the cycle routes, went to the South West to the spot where one can "cycle in the trees," from there we went North West to Lommel and the "Lommelse Sahara" for a 6k walking trip (orange dots). Finally cycled back to Pelt along the Albert Canal. 45k route On our last day, Kathleen recommended to go the "Bird's Palace": from the street it doesn't look like it's much more than a house, but once inside the kids were in for a treat: they carried an owl on their arm, held dodgy coversations with parrots, they played with land turtles and fed pinguins. Yes: pinguins. I can confirm what others have said: the breakfast is fantastic. What's even better: my wife is celiac (glutenintolerant): Kathleen has no problems preparing a fully celiac-friendly breakfast! And the kids loved it too: they got pancakes in the shape of stars and hearts. And loads of fruit and diversified bread. One more thing: we figured out late that this was the weekend in which the Eurovision songcontest was being held. Instead of having to look at the show in our separate rooms, Kathleen offered us to look at it in her own living room in our family bubble. This way, the Songcontest fulfilled its family-bonding role in our household as well.

Difficult to find things that could have been better. If you're looking for magnificent views over a lake, mountains or a waterfall: then yeah, don't stay here.

Wij vonden Kathleen en haar man zeer vriendelijk, communicatie was van ons uit iets mis gegaan waarop ik haar heb gebeld en Kathleen mij vriendelijk te woord heeft gestaan. En samen hebben we naar een oplossing gezocht. En nogmaals lijkt het erop dat de tweede communicatie van ons uit is mis gegaan, maar het is goed zo wij hebben het samen opgelost. Ook heeft ze ons een paar leuke tips gegeven wat er te zien was in de omgeving, helaas hebben we door de rugpijn van mijn vrouw dit niet kunnen opvolgen maar gaan wij dit in één volgende keer zeker opvolgen. Contact was zeer vriendelijk.

Er viel ons eigenlijk niks tegen, meer kan ik er niet over zeggen.

Kathleen heeft alles perfect georganiseerd voor mij, inclusief een heerlijk ontbijt dat voldeed aan mijn dieetwensen. Vriendelijk en goed verzorgd.

Toch een mooie ervaring, hartelijke ontvangst,lekker ontbijt en zeer hygiënisch.

Het was een zeer mooie, gezellige kamer, met nog een apart kamertje. We kregen een heel lekker ontbijt met pistolets, croissants,hartig en zoet beleg, een eitje enz... En de gastvrouw is een heel gemoedelijke, vriendelijke vrouw. Er is ook een mooi tuintje, als het weer goed is, mag je buiten ontbijten.

Ik denk, als het zeer warm weer is dat het dan op de kamer ook heel warm zal zijn. Je hoort wel veel geluid van de kamer ernaast.

Positive Punkte: + Sehr freundliches Personal + auffallend sauberes Zimmer + Bett war sehr bequem + gutes Frühstück

Negative Punkte: - Das kleine Sofa mit Platz weg, gerade wenn man ein Kinderbett im Zimmer hat - Das Zimmer ist recht klein, somit für Reisen mit Kinder bedingt geeignet

Ontbijt en gastvrouw, goede locatie als vertrekpunt voor mooie fietstochten.

Geur en badkamer niet op je kamer, kleine slaapkamer met ouderwets beddengoed, voelt in eerste instantie niet goed aan, wel goed geslapen.

De perfecte overnachtingsplek!

Het ontvangst was zeer hartelijk. We voelde ons direct thuis. De kamer was ruim en comfortabel en het bed sliep heerlijk. In de badkamer was alles aanwezig wat je nodig mocht hebben. We konden zelfs badjassen lenen als dat nodig mocht zijn. Lekker uitslapen en daarna een uitgebreid ontbijt. Er werd rekening gehouden met onze dieet wensen. Kathleen was ontzettend aardig en gezellig. We hebben een heerlijke overnachting gehad. Kortom...het was perfect!!

Kathleen was super vriendelijk en gastvrij, haar B&B was super schoon. Ze heeft ons erg goed, vriendelijk en spontaan ontvangen, erg behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was ook zeker uitgebreid. Mijn kinderen waren ook dol op Kathleen.
