Fairway Haven Getaway

The high ceilings in the living room made the space feel open and spacious. The unit was very functional and comfortable with all the resources you need. There were even extras to use in the garage for when you went to the beach.

Moths. There was a moth plague there (which was actually a common problem in NSW at the time - not specific to this unit). However, our issue was that around 80-100 moths were inside the property (plus 500+ in the garage). We didn't let them in and I had to get them out, which took some time and effort. Fortunately my daughter searched the internet which said a vacuum cleaner was a good method. I found one which assisted. Each night thereafter, we still had 15-20 moths which had to be caught and removed. The high ceilings ironically made this more difficult. The owner didn't really offer much sympathy except she said to keep the lights off when we go out (which I do anyway).

Lovely homely accomodation with spacious living area, good kitchen, comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. Peaceful garden. Great communication and wonderful owners. Close to beach, golf courses and restaurants.

Just a suggestion, but would have liked a cafetière to use in the morning for our ground coffee…

I loved this accommodation. It is right opposite the golf course, a short stroll to Mollymook Beach and we really enjoyed its relaxed vibe. The kitchen is well equipped and Rebecca is easy to contact. It also has a back deck and BBQ. We will come back again. 😀
