Lovely quaint cottage in a peaceful quiet rural area. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. The kids loved the outdoor play area. Comfortable beds.

New towels as the ones left out seemed a bit tired and hard.

A cosy quiet little cottage Nice sized bedrooms - one double room and a triple room. Comfy beds Ensuite good and big Suitable for a wheelchair user. Countryside views Not too far from Newcastle Hosts were accomodating with checkin time

Radiators were set to low so it was a little cold when we got back in the evening, wasn't an issue, we just turned them up and it was warm quick enough

Space to park safely and conveniently. Very clean. Loads of living space and a large private garden space. Good range of appliances. Fireplace.

The high seat toilets and low sinks were a little awkward - but we recognise these were designed for accessibility.

Beautiful warm welcoming spacous cottage. Has everything needed for a lovely stay. We arrived on a cold day and the fire had been set for us ready to light. Would highly recommend

Total relaxation cottage with a fire and supply off logs. Heating perfect. Quite area with 5 minutes run to shops if needed. Owner very helpful. Cooking facility's clean. Fridge freezer clean. Plenty of tea towels and bath towels. Perfect cottage to unwind and relax.

Outside light not working difficult to walk dog at night. Toilet seat onsuite broken.

Lovely warm and cozy property situated in the countryside but few minutes drive from Downpatrick and short drive to Newcastle and Mournes etc it can be hard to find a property suitable for someone with a disability this home had everything we needed which makes life a lot easier for relaxing break definitely would stay again

Stunning Cottage in a beautiful location

Amazing cottage with beautiful views. We attended a wedding and have been visiting Downpatrick for years and only recently come across this little Gem. The cottage is beautiful, spacious and the perfect locate with plenty of off road parking available. We were very lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the outside of the property with a lovely seating area.

Fantastic dog friendly cottage

Clean and very cosy accommodation in a great location for sightseeing. I couldn't fault this beautiful cottage which had everything you could need. It was also perfect for my dog, with a great garden to run around in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

Great stay for families

Lovely little cottage near enough to Downpatrick to be able to go shopping and also visit tourist attractions, but set in a quiet country setting. The cottage had all the amenities that a family could need while staying over.

Google maps takes you just past the cottage to an empty field, so it might be slightly more difficult to find the first time.
