The apartment is located in the center of the historic old town in a traffic-calmed street, on the ground floor of a monument-protected two-family house. The house was built in 1870 and was a commercial building, with a milk and cheese shop until the mid-19th century. You can recognize this by the two lower sales windows on the lower floor, which were typical for this time.
Furthermore, you will find in the apartment a unique bathroom, with a sunken in the bathtub. This is the area where the milk cans were stored to hold the temperatures for the sales day.
Friedrichstrasse was the heart of Hückeswagen and the pulsating shopping street. Because of this location, everything is within walking distance and you do not need a vehicle, the apartment is located directly on Bergische Panoramasteig.
