We welcome you in the highest place in the Lower Harz and invite you to a fantastic holiday between Selke and Bodetal. Directly in nature and yet conveniently located, you can enjoy a break from everyday life here. Whether pure relaxation in untouched nature or rather adrenaline during sporting activities, our apartment directly at the Kurpark in Friedrichsbrunn is the ideal starting point for single travelers, families and small groups up to 4 people.
The state-approved climatic health resort Friedrichsbrunn is located in the middle of the extensive mixed forests of the northern Harz at approx. 550m above sea level. NN. In addition to some good restaurants, a supermarket and a savings bank, there are other amenities that meet your daily needs. These include a. a baker, a pharmacy, doctors and 2 hairdressers. Well-signposted and well-developed hiking trails invite everyone interested to discover the local flora and fauna. Mountain bikers and motorcyclists will also find plenty of opportunities to indulge their passion here. In winter, in addition to two large toboggan slopes, there is a varied and well-groomed network of trails for fans of cross-country skiing (also known as the "Skiarena Bodetal").
As the highest located district of the unitary community of Thale, Friedrichsbrunn is approx. 10 km from the core city. By paying the tourist tax (€ 2.50 per person / night), use of public transport is possible free of charge in the entire Harz district. There are numerous interesting excursion destinations in the area. Among other things, the Hexentanzplatz, the Bode and Selketal, the Rappbodetalsperre, Pullman City Harz or the Brocken attract the numerous guests of the region.
