Like the experience of staying at a real farm and surrounded by beautiful scenery. House was clean and warm.

The coffee machine was broken. There was heavy limescale in the water kettle so I didn't bother to boil water for coffee.

Fantastic property located right next to the Kolgrafarfjördur Viewpoint, from my spacious and clean room I could see a small portion of that fjord. It is a shared bathroom/hostel kind of feel. 15 minutes to Kirkjufell, if that.

We have no idea about the house is shared with others. We were there from the 30th to the 31st for four adults and occupied two bedrooms. Surprisingly, there was one more bedroom in the house. A sticker was labeled in front of the door with a name and date from the 31st to the 1st. We felt it should be okay since we would leave on the 31st around 11 am, and the other guests would check in after 3 - 4 pm. At midnight, we heard a loud noise as people opened and closed doors and drawers heavily. In the morning, someone occupied the bathroom for more than half an hour. Sharing a bathroom with 6 people was not fun. A lady placed 3 - 4 big bags of food on the floor. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen boiling food for herself. We were in a rush to prepare breakfast before checking out.
