Villa Margherita

The villa is located in a quiet, green, calm and welcoming place, very close to the beach. Fantastic, well maintained garden and plot. The space suppounding the house is big, spacious, green grass, trees and flowers. The house is an older house, with 3 separate bedrooms, and 2 separate bathrooms. Feels like your grandma's house, cosy and homey, furtinute as if in someone's house, not a hotel. Small kitchen with the main necessities, oven, fridge, cutlery, Big veranda, with big table, enough space and chairs for dinner outside. Smaller table with 4 chairs for coffee and relaxation. Cannignione is a short walk away, probably 15 min slow walk, next to the beach, passing a small park and gardens. The villa is centrally located but quiet, we erally enjoyed it. Paola was very kind, came to welcome us at arrival, very late in the evening. Made sure we have what we need, and answered questions.

Given it's an older house, my main comments are around those aspects - furniture is old and not always very comfortable and working properly, chairs are old. The doors are squeaky, which was an issue when you have 6 people, 3 adult pairs in the house. We would recommend changing the beds and matresses completely, they are not comfortable and this makes a difference when you're on vacation. Linen, sheets and blankets are very basic, it might be best to change. Last, they really need to put an irrigation system. Paola shows up in the garden very early in the morning 2-3 times per week to have them manually switched on and off. As an early starter, I like to keep my coffeee time quiet and calm, and I find this a bit annoying. Small investment and improvements can make a real difference here.

Paula war eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Sie hat sich liebevoll um alles gekümmert. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle für das Empfangspräsent! Wir haben unsere Zeit in der Villa sehr genossen. Super Strandlage und ein sehr gepflegter Garten haben unseren Urlaub verschönert.

Nichts

Heerlijk en gezellig huis op een prachtige locatie, vlakbij het strand en bij een gezellig dorpje. Het huis heeft een mooie veranda, waar we met de familie gezellig samen konden eten en spelletjes spelen. Zeer schoon huis en vriendelijke host!

Het matras in de master bedroom zou wat steviger kunnen.
