Location was close to the dunes, and not that far from Yumbo. The washing and drying machine was a big plus. So was the safe for putting valuables in. Air conditioning also helped a lot. There was an iron with an ironing board, as well.
The appartment was not in perfect condition, but everything was functioning. You pay a 100 EUR deposit and sign a note in Spanish that "la vivienda se encuentra en perfectas condiciones para su alojamiento." Which makes you dependent on the goodwill of the owner and feels a little inconvenient. Finally, everything was OK. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so you get rid of all the "odors" by letting them pass trough the other rooms.
