Livingston Hotel

Very reasonably priced spa at the property, amazing buffet breakfast, very friendly staff, beautiful room with lovely view of Sandakan

Location is a bit far out from town, have to get a grab everywhere as the roads around aren’t very good for pedestrians

Breakfast was superb. Exceeded expectations.

The beds.. should be much more cleaner.

The hotel is huge, the room is spacious. Everything works. It was quite and private. When we came down for breakfast, they refilled the empty food tray.

The staff during breakfast wasnt something we would call the Malaysian hospitality, I expect more when paying this money. Plus I saw quite a number of foreigners staying here, need to show that to them. Also, the breakfast was simple. And there's a kid taking too long on the toaster station, the staff didn't stop him. He wondered around the cafe, the staff were nice to him, I didnt see his parents anywhere. I think for this kind of hotel, this shouldnt happen. Should manage better. I want everyone to keep their job, to help the hotel to grow, to be recognise by foreigners and locals. The pick up point was too narrow for us to stop for while loading our things and letting the car behind us to pass through. Usually hotel will provide good space for loading and letting other cars to pass. All the best.
