About this house rental
Welcome to Salty Dog! This custom built, one of a kind designer home with it's fantastic ocean view and ideal location will nestle you in Texas Shore luxury! The Salty Dog is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath, 4000 sq. ft. home, steps from the ocean boardwalk and two of Cinnamon Shore's three swimming pools.
AMENITIES: Resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes, a fishing dock, fire pits, fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, a pirate ship playscape, and more! Enjoy on-site restaurants such as a Mediterranean bistro and a pizzeria, while the Town Center hosts events, activities, and live music in peak season and on holiday weekends.
Multiple families can have their own space starting with the 1st floor which features a whimsically themed living area with trundle bed (2 twins) and beverage center. Two queen bedrooms layered in soft, sea-inspired colors and a bunk room with 4 bunks complete this floor. Each room has its own bathroom and smart TV.
The second floor holds the luxurious grand primary suite with a king bed, smart TV and large primary bathroom with soaker tub and separate shower. An additional living area with a wet bar, smart TV, and half bath leading out to it's own deck make this a great additional gathering area.
On the opposite side of the primary bedroom is the library with 2 comfy reading nooks and an awesome hanging bed with French doors leading out to yet another large deck. You won't find a more perfect place to relax while on vacation!
Bring everyone together in the 3rd floor's great living area, which is flooded with natural light and beautifully decorated with comfort in mind. Enjoy the 75" wall mounted Smart HDTV or listen to your favorite tunes on our sound system. There is a queen size sleeper sofa, a dining table overlooking the large deck with ocean views that seats 10 and another dining table on the deck that seats 6. The kitchen has a large island which provides additional seating for 5 and stainless steel appliances that are ready and waiting for shrimp boils and family gatherings. Completing the 3rd floor is a wet bar with wine/beverage refrigerator and it's own comfy sitting area-perfect for a cozy chat. Just off this sitting area is a half bath and another comfortable deck.
There are laundry room on both the 1st and 2nd floors to make clean up a breeze, 7 smart HDTV's throughout the house, beverage centers on all floors, sound systems on the second and third floors and third floor, ocean view deck. This home is loaded with top-of-the line amenities and an elevator servicing all floors for your comfort and enjoyment. IF A PET IS SEEN ENTERING A NON-PET FRIENDLY HOME, GUEST WILL BE CHARGED A PENALTY AND EVICTED.
This is a non-pet friendly property, and there are no exceptions. If a pet is seen entering the homeowner and/or Cinnamon Shore Vacation Rentals has the right to immediately evict the renter with no refunds, regardless of time of day or night.
There will be an automatic non-refundable penalty fee of $1000 added to the reservation if a pet is seen entering the property. If the pet does not leave the property immediately, at the date of the violation, there will be an additional $300 daily charge applied to the renter until eviction. It is up to the contract signee to disperse the pet policy to all persons staying in the home. If a renter's "guests" violate this policy it is assumed they are aware of the policy and the fee will be assessed. The Renter may also be liable for any additional charges related to cleaning fees and/or damage in the home.

Beautiful home near the ocean. Very comfortable , felt like home. Cinnamon Shore North has three pools , golf carts fishing, bonfires with s’mores and restaurants. We had young children with us and appreciated that the bunk room was on the lower floor. Master King is very nice and spacious. Great beach house!

Salty Dog was a beautifully decorated home with all the bells and whistles! We loved our stay by the sea with a view of the ocean and it's ideal location to the ocean board walk and the neighborhood pool located down the street. The only drawback was the front door would not lock due to the salty air corrosion and therefore the door keys were rendered useless. Other than that, our stay was a delight and enjoyed by all!

Overall, we had a good introduction to Cinnamon Shores. Our check in experience wasn't super smooth. We arrived 45 minutes after our checkin window started, and our house still wasn't ready. After driving that day and planning on arriving at a time when we'd be able to get in, it was a little frustrating to have to keep our kids in the car for a little extra time. We understand that things happen, but the staff wasn't apologetic but acted kind of like it was normal.
The house was overall good!! Loved the setup. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gear you would need! The only complaint about the house is the bottom floor has an odd smell and some of the blankets in the kids bunk room were stained. Other than that, the house was perfect for our large group + kids. Really great location!! And we would stay at The Salty Dog 314 again if we return to Cinnamon Shores.
We loved the pizza place, and ended up renting a golf cart (which I highly recommend doing if you go!). One thing I will say, we are not used to having folks driving on the beach and if you have littles ones, you have to keep a close eye on them. People are pretty chill during the day, but towards the evening there are lots of trucks and jeeps that are flying.
And this has nothing to do with the house, but the resort allows flags to be flown on golf carts and trucks and the amount of "F**K Biden" & "Lets Go Brandon" flags we saw was wild. I don't care about people's political leanings, but hated that our kids were exposed to that sort of language at a family friendly resort. If I had a recommendation to Cinnamon Shores it would be if they want to be a classy family friendly resort, ensure that kids aren't exposed to profanity like that.
