Although the property is a little outside the city centre, there is a metro station right next to it, so getting around is very easy with a daily or multi-day metro pass. The property offers both shared bathroom/toilet options and private options. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, but there were no hygiene issues at all. You can also leave your luggage at the property and collect it later before your departure. The host, Gisela, is very friendly and helpful. If you ask, she will gladly share recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. There were also small snacks in the room, as well as coffee capsules, which was a thoughtful touch

There was nothing seriously negative about the stay. Since the property is located next to a multi-lane road, there can be some traffic noise. However, earplugs were provided for this reason, and I personally did not feel the need to use them.

Very comfortable bed, AC in perfect condition. Blinds very effective to block all light, owner was lovely

Slightly noisy if other people in the other bedrooms as our room was next to the toilet, but to be expected when there’s a shared bathroom

It was well appointed and had good facilities, cofeee machine, fridge etc. It was a short walk from the Milano Centrale station and has some reasonable eating places close by.

A bit bigger room and a balcony would have made it perfect.

The shared bath didn’t work for me. A separate toilet from bath/shower would make it okay.
