The address indicated on the booking was not correct, and we spent 30 minutes trying to find the house

Exceptional

The house exceeded our expectations. The pictures and the description on the site was limited to 4 bedrooms. In fact we found a nice old house with long convivial table in a salon and a kitchen on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms with a baby bed, a toilet and a bathroom on the first floor, another 2 bedrooms, a toilet and a bathroom on the second floor. There is easily a space for 3 families with kids or 10-12 people. The host was very nice, she provided everything for our comfortable stay. At our arrival we found local cookies on the table as a compliment. The village is quiet and typical for Cantal region. There is a cafe, a bread shop and a small supermarket nearby. Towels, bed linings, douche accessories are provided at extra cost or think to bring your owns.

Maison spacieuse, propre et bien équipée

La maison a tous les équipements nécessaires, il y a de l'espace pour chacun, elle est très propre. Il n'y a pas de toilettes au rez-de-chaussée, mais il y a des toilettes et salle de douche séparées à chaque étage. Il est aisé de se garer. L'emplacement est pratique avec la boulangerie en face, le petit marché, et le relais des mousquetaires non loin. Sans compter la gentillesse de Régine :)

Pas d'Isolation phonique, donc bruit permanent quand quelqu'un se déplace dans la maison,surtout la nuit. Vétusté de l'ensemble

VOTRE CAMP DE BASE POUR RANDONNER DANS LE CEZALLIER

Vaste maison pratique , fonctionnelle au coeur du village, Régine est sympathique accueillante et réactive , bon camp de base pour ceux qui veulent faire les nombreuses randonnées possibles dans le Cézallier. Certe il n'y a pas de jardin mais les nombreuses balades nature quotidiennes dans le coin compensent largement . Il y a un supermarché à distance de marche.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le Gîte chez Régine

Nous avons rejoint le "gîte chez Régine " à moto. Il se situe au milieu du village de Marcenat (sur la place principal). Il est spacieux, distribué sur un rez-de chaussé et 2 étages avec 4 chambres indépendantes (2 par étages) et deux salles de bain (une par étage), dont une avec WC séparé. La propreté est impeccable et la grande pièce du rez-de-chaussé agréable à vivre. On y trouve une grande table ainsi qu'un petit espace salon avec télévision. La cuisine est sommairement équipé mais nous avons pu y cuisiner sans problème. L'environnement villageois est calme et agréable. Une table et deux bancs étaient installés devant la maison sur le trottoir. Nous y avons fait une grillade avec le grill fourni sur-place. Régine est une hôte sympathique et réactive. Elle nous a très bien reçu. Ce gîte est un excellent rapport qualité/prix.
