Terrible experience

We rented this place for five nights. When we arrived at the apartmend, the owner informed us about some water dripping from the gas heating system. He had put a big basin underneath and asked us hat to empty the basin from time to time. He went on a business trip next day and obviously did not intend to call a plumber. Next day, the water dripping increased very much, filling up the basin (more than 100 liters) every four hours. So every four hours (day and night time), we had to empty the basin, carrying the water with a basket several meters to the toilet. If we had not done this, there would have been a severe flooding in the appartment and the floor beneath. So really the owner should have been thankful! When we contacted the owner, he wrote that he would call for a plumber. But nothing happened. Therefore, we checked out next day and asked for the money for the three remaining nights (456 EUR). The owner's wife only answered that her husband was a lawyer... We have not received our money back until today!

Perfect location, just above the beach and the pier, on the 5th floor, so the view is amazing - having breakfast and looking to the ocean is really worth the whole trip. The apartment is really spacious and it has an old-fashioned appeal. The hosts are very clear in their communication and not intrusive.

Actually, the old-fashioned appeal is sometimes just old... Everything works, but is quite dated. WiFi was not up to the task.

Zomerhit, maar doordat we graag wandelen hebben niet zoveel last van gehad.

Heel oud groot en mooi appartement met lift uit 1944 met gebruik voorschrift.(sluit je de 2 deuren niet achter je dicht dan kan iedereen trappen lopen de lift werkt dan niet,) Niet ingericht op verhuur .Staat vol met breekbare beelden en andere snuisterijen die in een privé woning horen .Het lijkt of je op de woning past van iemand die op vakantie is.

Grandiose Lage

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, alles nötige war in der riesigen Wohnung vorhanden. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist grandios.

Die Matratzen sind so weich oder durchgelegen, dass man nicht gerade liegen konnte und wir alle schlecht geschlafen haben. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, aber nicht mit diesen Matratzen.

Nouvel An en Belgique

Le charme d'un bâtiment ancien magnifiquement situé face à la plage. L'ascenseur qui bien que vétuste nous a régulièrement monté au 5 ème étage. Le Nouvel An en Belgique qui nous a offert le plus long Feux d'Artifices jamais observé ( plus de 2 heures et demi)

L'accueil du propriétaire qui nous a fait attendre une demi-heure au bas de son immeuble carv il ne noius avait pas envoyer les instructions par email ou SMS et son téléphone ne répondait pas. Le WIFI qui ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivée, puis le lendemain était OK et encore HS pour le Noiuvel An. Pas de chauffage à notre arrivée! Heureusement que je sais me débrouiller avec ces systèmes.

Très agréable séjour dans un bel appartement bien situé.

La taille de l'appartement, sa situation face à la mer et au Pier, la décoration ancienne mais cosy. Les lits confortables, le vieil ascenseur de 1944.

L'un des radiateurs faisait beaucoup de bruit pendant la nuit dans l'une des chambres.

Die Wohnung ist sehr abgewohnt - alle Möbel sind alt - die Kücheneinrichtung z.B. Kaffeemaschinen verschmutzt oder kaputt! Unfreundlicher Checkout!
