Mi Casa Tu Casa Homestay

I booked the stay for celebrating the new year with my family, I booked close to the stay date, there was only one room available that time, when I talked to the host Abhilash told him about the situation he arranged a room for us. Because of this we were able to enjoy our holiday else the plan would have been ruined. About the stay, it's a traditional Kerala home, so beautiful and well maintained, surrounded by greenery. I always wanted to stay in a property like this. My family really loved this house, clicked alot of pictures here. The hostess Saumya was super friendly and very helpful. She served us tea in morning, helped us book a ferry for backwater boating, recommended places to eat. My parents only speak Hindi, while Saumya didn't, still they managed to have a conversation, that was surprising 😀 The house is situated close to cherai beach, we took evening walks to go to the beach. Our stay was peaceful and comfortable. Thanks alot for such a good experience Saumya and Abhilash!

Although they have a common kitchen where you can come cook and eat, it would be good if kettle can be provided in the room as since the place is quite, it felt bad to make any noise in the kitchen.

The property was as advertised, neat and clean. The host family was wonderful and welcoming. It felt like a home away from a home.

Really beautifull place and wonderfull people, very friendly and helpfull. Rooms are like on the foto, very clean and spacy, very good bed, schower and AC. Quiet and safe neigbourhood, very good ayurveda hospital in 10 minutes walking distance and beautifull beach in 35min walking distance, Iyengar yoga nearby. Very good place to relax. Wifi is also good. I spend very nice time here, thank you!

-: loin de la mer prendre taxi ou tuk tuk est quasiment obligatoire (2km de la mer, 100 roupies) - plus d’eau ni chaude ni froide à partir de 22 heures jusqu’au milieu de la nuit - ne parlent quasiment pas anglais
