About this cottage rental
Come and enjoy our 2 bedroom at Lazy Z Cottage located on 4 acres just off MM 8. Located at the back of a quiet cove there is plenty of room to kick back, relax and enjoy spectacular views of Lake of the Ozarks. Entertain outdoors and enjoy the sun, read a book, gather around the fire pit, go fishing, swimming or a cruise around the cove. Launch your boat on our private boat ramp and park on the side of dock. If you don't have a boat and thinking of renting. There are many marinas here at the Lake of the Ozarks to rent from.
Lazy Z Cottage sleeps 6 and is furnished with new plush queen Serta mattresses for a great night’s sleep! The living room has a new comfortable sleeper sofa, chairs and 40 " Smart TV with Wifi . The kitchen is fully stocked with a nice dining table, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as an outdoor gas grill. All you have to do is go grocery shopping!
Close by boaters will find the Big Thunder Marina very handy with a newly reopened gas dock and C-store, boat and jet ski rentals, as well as boat launch ramp. Call the marina at 573-207-0773. The number for boat or jet ski rentals is 573-365-4001. Millstone Marina with great C-store and gas docks featuring ethanol free 87, high octane 93 and diesel. Get the fuel you need at a price you want to pay. There are many restaurants and bars with live entertainment on this side of the lake. Osage Beach is about a 25 minute drive from our house and there is a very large outlet mall for Shopping options in addition to the many shops located in Laurie. On the way to Osage Beach is the Big Surf Water Park offering a wave pool, lazy river and numerous other water attractions. One of our favorite restaurants in Laurie is LaCantina which has great Mexican food as well as a spectacular lake view from inside the restaurant. If you don't have or rent a boat for your stay, the Playin Hooky Water Taxi based out of Millstone Lodge is a Pontoon Boat that offers transportation to restaurants and bars on the Lake. We wanted a lowkey relaxing Bachelorette party weekend and that is exactly what we got! The location was perfect, the house was beautiful! The host was very accommodating and checked on us numerous times throughout our stay! The property was very nice and watching the wildlife added so much to our weekend! The cove was quiet, and even when it wasn’t, it wasn’t bad and kept us entertained! We had so much fun and would definitely come back!

Exactly as described! Very secluded. Very clean updated cabin. Nothing was missed! We will be back and would recommend this to anyone including friends and family.My only con would be the steep gravel road. If you don't have four wheel drive I would not recommend. We have 4x4's so had no issues.
