Gregorius Diamerisma panoramic terrace

Excellent location right in the centre of the old town. Fabulous terrace which we made great use of.

Quite difficult to check in and locate the property, made more challenging as I had a heavy case and was on my own.

Nice traditional style apartment in an excellent location. The host was very helpful, and answered any questions we had very quickly. Lovely sunny terrace.

You have to go through one of the bedroom to get to the other bedroom.

El apartamento está muy bien, cómo en las fotos. La terraza es estupenda. La ubicación maravillosa en pleno casco histórico, a 5 minutos del cristo velado, de la catedral...Se duerme bien, sin ruido porque a las 8 cierran las tiendas, al menos en semana santa.

Nada. Lo único señalar que el ascensor es pequeño y subes de dos en dos. La fachada está deteriorada como casi todos los edificios de Nápoles. Pero el apartamento genial. Hay conserje en la entrada.

The highlight of this property is the large terrace. Terracotta tiles, potted plants, a dining table, chairs and a sun bed. This space is totally glorious and thankfully we had perfect weather to take advantage of the space which was drenched in sunlight throughout our stay. We loved being out on the terrace, three floors above the crowds in the busy alleyways below, enjoying a magnificent view of Mount Vesuvius. Thankfully there is a lift to the apartment, which is on the third floor. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment was well heated. Communication with the host was very quick, attentive and courteous.

There is a two step process to collect the keys for the lift and apartment, which would be better as a one step process. Having said that, the instructions to find the keys were very clear. We were just tired after a day of travelling so it felt like a lot. The two burner stove top was a little restrictive for using both burners at once. We cooked dinner at the apartment most nights so found that inconvenient, but if you dine out most nights it won’t be a problem. Apart from the terrace outside, there is very little inside general living space. To get to the second bedroom you must walk through the first bedroom. This was not a problem for our family, but could be a disadvantage for other groups.
