Except for one person, all the staff were exceptional! Very welcoming, pleasant, friendly, wonderful and polite - lovely dealing with them - they made a great effort to make us feel welcome and looked after (except for one who did the opposite) The issues that we had were dealt with immediately to get it fixed and they kindly gave us a bottle of bubbly to enjoy for the interrupted sleep. The room was spacious, traditional and tastefully designed and with the luxury of the jacuzzi tub, which was a treat. The restaurant was lovely - food was delicious! Lovely atmosphere! Loved the house cats - beautiful and friendly, but also didn't bother us during our meal. The place was warm and secure.

Unfortunately there were no blinds/curtains on the windows, so privacy was compromised and once the sun was up, so were we. There were lots of noisy bugs in the otherwise clean room as unfortunately the screen was broken on the window. The TV was faulty. There was a hungry mouse on the roof during the night keeping us awake! One waiter was rather rude with us and unfortunately was our main server for our meal.
