Można podziwiać ocean który jest na wyciągnięcie ręki i podziwiać widoki . Pani Maria jest w stałym kontakcie i wysyła pomocne wskazówki jak gdzie dojechać i gdzie dobrze zjeść . Przy budynku znajduje się przystanek autobusowy z którego można bezpośrednio dojechać do centrum Funchal.Bilet u kierowcy 2,05 e., płatność gotówką.

Great base for exploring Madeira, even if you don't have a car. Airport bus drops off in front of the building. Buses every 10 minutes into town and is just beside a hotel for the tour company pick ups. Good supermarket across the road. This is not luxury accommodation but rather excellent value for money. The apartment is clean and functional, kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The owner Maria gave loads of tips and even left leaflets for my areas of interest. She really is a personal tour guide. Box of Madeiran chocolates on arrival was very kind gesture. As a solo female traveller, I enjoyed staying here.

A beautiful view, friendly host (if you need any information about the island, she'll help you). Very quiet building. Free parking.

A lot of drain smell (probably because the age of the building). Not very clean or modern. Quite ascetic and shabby, needs renovation and new furnitures (the couch is very uncomfortable to sit) and dishes. The bed is only 140 cm wide and there's a double blanket, so travel with someone you want to sleep near to. Prepare to buy your own toilet paper (even though the booking confirmation claims it's included).
