Yes, there was a man there to receive the keys. There was good communication back and forth about arrival and who to meet. When we couldn't find the place because the address on Booking was incorrect, the man helped us find our way.
The only issue was that we hit traffic and were a couple of hours later than anticipated. The host was intense and not very happy that we were not on time. The address for the location actually did not match where the apartment really was so we had to inquire further when we didn't find it initially.
