The Dragon Barn - Studio

Super stylish accommodation in dragon style, kids absolutely loved it. Picturesque village very high in the mountains with breathtaking views. It would be worth staying for more than one night.

Not a true disadvantage, rather a fact of life you must count with — parking is possible about 50 m from the house. The road is one way only so you have to drive through the village with very narrow spaces and sharp corners between old houses, which was quite challenging with our family van and would be even harder if you come with a camper, for example.

Le cadre atypique du chalet et le propriétaire est très sympa. Il y a le confort et le chalet est spacieux.

La location, Ascou est un village très typique mais pas évident de ce garer.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dragon Barn. The place is very cosy, the host also heated it up before our arrival - which was great since we arrived during a snow storm. Would definitely stay here again !

Sehr schöne und vor allem ruhige Lage. Auch die allgemeine Lage für Ausflüge zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto war optimal. Die Umgebung war einfach Traumhaft. Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist wirklich hübsch eingerichtet und sehr urig. Hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen.

In dem Haus gibt es zwei Ferienwohnungen wir hatten die untere. Da es nur einen reinen Holzfußboden als Decke gab konnte man wirklich jeden Schritt oder Bewegung in der oberen Wohnung wahrnehmen. Glücklicherweise sind die Kinder in der oberen Wohnung recht früh ins Bett gegangen somit konnte man auch in Ruhe schlafen. Kann natürlich bei anderen Gästen eventuell anders laufen. Wir kommen trotzdem sehr gerne wieder werden dann aber die obere Wohnung nehmen. Was man wissen sollte ist das man maximal 50 mtr. an die Ferienwohnung ranfahren kann und den restlichen Weg die Koffer tragen muss. Es kann sein das man auch im Dorf keinen Parkplatz bekommt dann muss man an der Hauptstraße Parken (hier gibt es genug Parkplätze) und etwas Bergauf laufen. Wie es halt in einem Bergdorf üblich ist.
