Deep clean needed!!!

Location is absolutly great in this historical building. Interior/ the look of the appartent is very tastefull and carefully styled! The atmosphere lovely Facilities in the appartement were well thought through and very comfortable: really everything you need is there. But there are some lesser points unfortunatly.

Very very said to say, but there are quite some less nice things to discuss about such a lovely place. And it is not just a little thing here or there that can be overlooked: Mold in the shower area between the tiles. Shower tray doesn't drain during showering: you can only shower for a short amount of time or it will overflow. The kitchen sink doesn't drain either. Egg-frying spatula in the kitchen is uncleaned: all eggstuff was stuck to it. The lid of the thermos is really sticky. All door handles are sticky All doors are finger-blackened around the handle. The light switches are finger-blackened and sticky. The loose cushions on the sofa smell of long-used/lived-in use. Refrigerator not cleaned: jar marks are visible on the glass shelves, mold is the back and sides where shelves touch the wall, smells not fresh. Veneer on kitchen cabinets is peeling. Dishcloth in the kitchen smells sour: wet, never-dried fabric. Two mugs had to be washed before use: they were put away dirty in the upboard with coffee residue. Glass tabletop covered in chip-like crumbs around the rim underneath the glass. Electrical outlets don't all work or are sparking.

Nice, big and comfortable apartment

The apartment was excellent in general. With very big rooms and a equipped kitchen.

As a suggestion (these were lacking): - I would like to install blackout curtains in windows to cut sunlight in the morning - I would like to sleep with a smaller and harder pillow (personal preference)

Perfect Location and great food!!

The apartment was perfectly located close to everything We were given the keys and shown to our apartment by a very nice lady. The apartment itself was better than the pictures. We also ate several meals in their restaurant and were never disappointed in the food, the quantity, the prices or the service. Our entire experience was great. We will definitely stay again and also recommend to friends.

Very good

Fantastic location in the middle of the old town. Very large holiday apartment with plenty of space - we were really surprised by the size and the comfort. Great! Typical restaurant with really good food on the ground floor.

The wifi is completely useless (too slow - often much less than 4Mbits and sometimes even too slow to load simple webpages). I then tried my Vodafone cellphone 4G connection which did not work either (also too slow in the old town). So this is probably a general infrastructure problem in the old town and not the fault of the Burgkeller. We needed internet for several Zoom calls as we were traveling for work - so I had to check 4G coverage in Limburg, drive to a parking lot outside the old town and use the hotspot of my cellphone there (a bit of a hassle, but this eventually worked well).

Excellent location in the center of the old town, close to the parking lot. Apartment very clean, nicely furnished, romantic. Good communication with the host. Reasonable price. Overall almost 100% satisfaction.

The wifi connection was slow (however, we don't need that much internet on a holiday). The beds were a bit soft for us.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen Kurztripp nach Limburg!!!

Unsere Wohnung hatte einen schönen alten Charm, war groß genug für 4 Personen. Obwohl der Gastraum direkt unter uns lag, war es nicht unangenehm laut. Über die Lautstärke Nachts auf der Strasse, kann das Hotel nichts dafür, man hört halt einiges. Ich kann das Hotel bzw Wohnung für einen Kurztripp nur empfehlen!!!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist zentral, mitten in der Altstadt. Das Parkhaus fußläufig zu erreichen, knapp 5 Minten entfernt und mit 7 Euro für das 24-Stunden-Ticket sehr günstig. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und bietet alles, was man braucht. Das Haus hat den Charme des 17. Jahrhunderts, die Gaststube ist urgemütlich.

Großzügige Ferienwohnung im Zentrum der Altstadt

Sehr gut eingerichtete große Wohnung, Nähe am Zentrum und direkt über dem Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche. Sehr freundliches Personal 👍🏻

Leider in beiden Schlafzimmern keine Doppelbetten, sondern je 2 Einzelbetten, die zusammengerückt eine Lücke von 20 cm hatten. Da kann man nachbessern.

Sehr zentral gelegen , Treppenaufgang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig eben ein sehr altes Haus mit viel Flair. Schlafzimmer sehr gut.

Gute Unterkunft in Traumlage inmitten der Altstadt

Die Wohnung war groß, hatte 2 abschließbare Schlafzimmer und im Wohnzimmer noch eine Schlafmöglichkeit. Die Ankunft und Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert, das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns alles gezeigt.

Handtücher und Bettwäsche roch muffig, es könnte deutlich sauberer sein. Ein richtiges Doppelbett (statt Einzelbetten) wäre noch von Vorteil.

Super Lage, große, gut ausgestattete Wohnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr enge, steile Treppe, für geh- oder sehbehinderte Menschen nicht geeignet.

Leider war die Heizung nicht an, als wir kamen und hat auch nicht richtig funktioniert. Wir hatten keinen richtigen Ansprechpartner, aber das Personal im dazugehörigen Restaurant war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Es war sehr schön und angenehm!

Wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mitten im Herzen von Limburg. Man hat eine schöne Aussicht in die Fußgängerzone und trotzdem ist alles sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt einem an nichts. Die Matratzen sind auch sehr bequem und man kann sich einfach wohl fühlen. Es ist alles sehr sauber, es gibt ein schönes Bad und die ganze Wohnung hat sehr viel Charme. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen!

Der einzige Nachteil ist die Parksituation, was mitten in der Stadt natürlich normal ist. Es wird einem ein Parkhaus empfohlen, was auch sehr günstig ist, trotzdem muss man ein Stück laufen, was mit Gepäck welches man nicht ziehen kann, recht mühsam ist. Vor allem, wenn man den Weg nicht kennt. Aber das muss man für so eine klasse Ferienwohnung dann einfach in Kauf nehmen :-)

Het was een leuk gezellig verblijf in de oudste stadsherberg van het mooie Limburg ad Lahn.

Ontbijt gebruikten we elders. Dit werd niet aangeboden in de Burgkeller. We verbleven in het oude centrum van de stad, met alle feestelijkheden van de december maand.

We hadden een sleutel van de buitendeur. Deze sleutel was niet van de hoofdingang, maar van een ons onbekende achterdeur. De schoonmaakster moest ons meerdere keren binnenlaten.
