Great location, everything worked, bus stop nearby.

We phoned, door code advised and the keys were under the mat. So easy compared to our following on flat in Paris. Need to add to front page that local Swiss rules only allow fans no air conditioning due to climate change. The owners/manager of cleaning staff were so helpful providing linen for the extra bed as soon as, and the manager came round and explained how the machines and tv worked. Advsied impossible to break anything. Maps and bus timetables available plus lots of condiments. Very easy access to shop and supermarket.

Suggest a book with pictures in 3 languages explaining how the machines and tv work.

Excellent location and handy flat for a short or long stay! Close to parks and the lake.

It was a bit hot at times but that had more to do with the weather than the flat - it was possible to open the windows and manage the temperature and also there were fans.

Good place for a short stay in Geneva.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was very well located for sightseeing although that also made it a bit noisy at night.

It was very hot and the air conditioner was ineffective. The fans in the living room did a much better job. There were a few things that were unfamiliar to us like how to use the washer and how to open the sofa bed. It would be a good idea to have a binder with some instructions. Geneva is very expensive so not the fault of the host that the rates were not a great value.

Loved the location, fabulous host, thoughtfully equipped and spacious accomodation.

Well equipped. Great size (roomy). Location close to lake, walking distance to local sites and many cafes & restaurants. Free travel card excellent. Host very responsive & helpful & allowed for flexible checking.

Very comfortable, however due to hot weather we needed windows open & there was significant street noise. The owner providing a portable airconditioner & fans helped considerably.

Clean apartment in good location

This basic apartment is near the lake and other attractions of Geneva. It had all the basics required and was clean.

Unfortunately we arrived in Geneva when it was really hot. I get the impression that the focus is heating rather than cooling. This apartment was a hot box. There was a cooling contraption where the hot air was exhausted out of a pipe through an open window. The problem is that the window was open, so heat could get in. There were small fans. The apartment is on busy street so it is noisy, especially with an open window.

Excellent location, just what we wanted in a rental and we would stay here again!

The location was so convenient! Easy to walk to the beach (we swam every day), to get to the tram, pastry shop across the street was so good and grocery store was near by. Kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. Good washer, dryer, dishwasher and shower. Beds comfy. Great view!

Apartment gets hot. There is an AC in the bedroom that we used at night, though it didn’t seal in the window so it didn’t cool it quite enough. Small fan in the main room so living area got very hot and took awhile to cool off at night (we had someone on the sofa bed). The week we were there it was low 30’s C/upper 80’s F. I expect this is an issue at most locations in Geneva, though.

the location was perfect

the condition of the apartment was poor- chipped paint on doors and skirting boards, peeling kitchen counter, curtains coming off their tracks. the bathroom was like a hot box- no ventilation and no extractor fan. there were dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, and old pizza boxes in the bin drawer. one of the frying pans had not been cleaned properly

Great apartment in the perfect location in Geneva. Walking distance from Old town,water jet,bars,restaurants,supermarkets.Well equipped with everything you need. Couldn't have wished for more.

Phillipe was a great host, and communicated with us well. We highly recommend this great flat.

The location is perfect and so central to the Eaux Vives area. Great restaurants and shopping, and right in the bus line. The apartment itself has everything you need and is well furnished.

Some of the neighbors on the same floor were smoking so much. Although it was inside their places, the smoke came into the common areas and into our unit.

Very good

Although the outside of the building is foreboding, once inside the apartment is clean, confortable and the facilities are good. The apartment is in a great area and the owners are very attentive.

It is very important to realise that when you book this apartment a cleaning fee of 100 CHF, applicable to all occupants, regardless of the length of stay, is not included. So although I booked this small one bedroom apartment for 3 nights and 600 CHF, the actual price (including a small, extra city tax) was > 700 CHF or ca 240 CHF per night. That suited us, because we needed somewhere at short notice and the apartment is comfortable. But I'm not sure that it represents good value. Booking.com and the owners needs to make sure that all charges are obvious at the time of booking. Why not just list the property with the 100 CHF added?
