Beautiful outdoor space and excellent stsff

The hotel is beautiful, situated right next to a stream. You can hear the water running at night, which I liked. The downside to that is the mosquitos, which really love me. The complimentary breakfast included coffee, juice, fruit, bread, and a choice between chilaquiles, eggs, or enchiladas. It was a big breakfast that kept me full until well into the afternoon. The time breakfast is offered was good too, so I didn't feel rushed. But by far, the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were great. The staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.

The rooms could use some updating, they were old and had not been well maintained. The shower was the worst. The bathtub surround was rather thick and I’m only 5 foot 3 inches, so it was a little difficult getting in to the shower. The shower head was awful. The water only sprayed through 6 or 7 of the head holes and each one sprayed in a different direction so there was not enough water going in the same direction to easily clean yourself. The water pressure was too hard and it kind of hurt if it sprayed your sensitive body parts. Another thing I didn’t like was the stairs. So. Many. Stairs. The only other thing that was a little annoying was that there were no convenience stores near by. The location was nice because it was away from the noise of the city, but it it also made it impossible to pop in to the store if I needed/wanted something. Other posts mentioned the lack of air conditioning, but with the overhead fan and a standing fan I found in the closet, I felt comfortable.

Beautiful place with potential but needs to prioritize a higher bar in terms of cleanliness.

The design and decor are lovely, and the staff treated us very well. The food was great.

The hotel is lacking when it comes to maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities. The stairs to our room were muddy and very dirty, and so was the area around the pool (the pool water was also very dirty). The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable.

Lovely romantic getaway!

Lovely it feels luxurious and I like the view from the room we got. The water in the swimming pool was perfect. I liked that we had a bath tub.

There were people outside our room making lots of noise in the evening and I think staff should be a little more attentive to those situations, because they were there for ages.

Mexican hospitality with mediterranean charm

The hotel is fairly close to the historical center of Cuernavaca and a choice of cafés, shops and restaurants. Most of all I enjoyed the open and elegant architecture, the lovely décor and the privacy of the rooms on different levels. Attention is excellent, the waiters very well trained and helpful, and security is top. The property has open terraces, cozy corners, lovely bedrooms and beautiful trees. The WIFI coverage was very good on all levels. The food was good, the choice for vegetarians rather limited. I quite enjoyed the red house wine. Management is charming and open to suggestions. Even my music preferences were satisfied. The rooms are bright, the striped bedding reminds one of seaside vacations. Very clean.

The hotel is built over 5 levels. This is charming but requires youthful fitness. There is no elevator. The shower and bathtub appliances need to be updated in most rooms, I suppose.

Un lugar agradable para pasar el fin de semana.

El hotel era muy agradable, espacioso y muy tranquilo. Las habitaciones eran amplias y al estar en una cañada había varias terrazas y el sonido constante del río.

El acceso tenía que ser por el restaurante, lo que hacía complicado la movilidad para salir y entrar en el hotel. La alberca es muy pequeña y estaba sucia cuando llegamos. Y el gimnasio estaba un poco descuidado.

La habitación: muy espaciosa, privada, tranquila y con una terraza excepcional. El desayuno bueno y adecuado. Las atenciones por parte del personal excepcionales.

Detalles de limpieza y mantenimiento que compartimos con la recepción y atentamente tomó notas para mejorar, como uno de los jabones líquidos del baño en mal estado y un insecto al interior. Al estar en la orilla de una barranca a veces se perciben algunos olores desagradables provenientes de la barranca.

No tenía aire acondicionado solo ventilador por el clima estaba bien pero no quiero pensar en tiempo de calor
