Same as everyone else, we loved the place. Location is great, quiet neighborhood, 2 blocks from the action. Looking at the map before we arrived we assumed it would be downhill to town and an uphill slog on the way home, but it's actually pretty flat, 10 minutes to town and the same back. The hosts were kind and helpful, unobtrusive but ready with information when required. We loved the pool! We definitely got our money's worth there, also the jacuzzi. We would love to go back. If we return to Puerto Vallarta we won't stay anywhere else

Minor point, but it would have been great to have access to an espresso machine. There's coffee available on the roof terrace...

Lucy and Jacob were such accommodating hosts. The property was spotless with a a gorgeous rooftop pool area and close to all the bars, restaurants and beach.

Nothing not to like.

I hate to give such a glowing review because we plan on returning and are concerned it’ll be full up. The Cual is in a great location just off the river and two blocks from the central mercado, a 10 minute walk to the Malecon and 6 minutes to the best taco stands in town. Our 1 bedroom was huge, with full kitchen and well appointed bathroom. My only complaint is there could be a few more kitchen supplies but that’s really a small quibble. The rooftop deck includes morning coffee, fruit and Mexican pastries, a couple or hammocks and plenty of lounge and seating with a decent sized pool and jacuzzi. The small staff and owner could not be more hospitable, friendly, helpful and, frankly, charming. By the end of our two weeks they were like family. People come from all over to stay here for months at a time and we can see why. We’ll be back.

The kitchen lacks a few amenities. Thinks like a lime squeezer, a knife sharpener and some storage containers would be great but, aside from that, the only thing we didn’t like is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We had all we needed and even more. Exceptionally friendly staff. Nice terrace with a pool. Peaceful location.
